Senior full professor with 5 years of industry experience, extensive experience in EU projects since 1985. Responsible for smart textiles (in which she was one of the pioneers), advanced textile structures and textile processes; Coordinator of interfaculty course on design based community service learning knowledge4all. Board member of the University Board of Directors (alternate) and the agencies for industrial research and research infrastructure (until 2016). Programme chair of the international master of science in textile engineering E-TEAM (2016-today).
