Maria Rangoussi is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of UNIWA. Her research interests are in the areas of Digital Signal, Image, Speech and Audio Processing, Data Analysis and Pattern Recognition. She also teaches graduate courses on E-learning systems and conducts research on innovative educational technologies and contexts (e.g., augmented and virtual reality). Over the last 30 years, she has been involved as researcher or project leader in several national and European research projects in these fields.
