Maria Daskolia is an associate professor at the Department of Educational Studies of NKUA and director of the Environmental Education Lab. Her research interests lie in the design of innovative teaching and learning strategies in the context of environmental and sustainability education, citizen science and environmental humanities. She has been involved in several European and nationally-funded research projects promoting citizen engagement and environmental learning with the use of digital technologies and tools.
